New Associate Joins Legal Team in Fort Lauderdale

Former clerk with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit joins Thomas & LoCicero.

Thomas & LoCicero is pleased to announce that Daniela B. Abratt has joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as an Associate.  Her practice concentration will be in media and communications law, including defamation and invasion of privacy.  She will also focus on business litigation and intellectual property matters.

Ms. Abratt comes to the firm upon the completion of a year-long clerkship with The Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  Previously she served as an Associate for DLD Lawyers with a practice in civil rights, products liability, medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases in both federal and state court. 

Having received her Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from the University of Florida in 2012, she then attended Florida International University College of Law and graduated in 2015. In addition to being an FIU law school alumna, she has also served as an Adjunct Professor teaching a legal writing and research course.
